Three stuck chat messages

    In STEAM the little green envelope shows that I have three unread chat messages
    but when I try to read them(clicking the envelope) nothing happens.
    Anybody have any ideas on reading or at least deleting these unread messages?
    I appreciate your time and effort.

    Yes, the Steam client won't show you the messages for whatever reason. Instead of using the client, log in to Steam in your internet browser. Click on the notification there. It will open your Steam chat messages in another window so you can read them.

    I had issues with this as well the past few days I've had to log in like Khan suggested using the steam site.
