What are some of ya'lls recommendations for a good, but cheap gaming laptop? I need a new one but, I don't want anything to expensive because I want to buy/build a tower in two years after I go to college. I'm not an idiot about computers but I'm not an expert either, and a good opinion never hurts. :D

I'm not really a labtop expert as I am in desktops. Though I will say at my old work and working on labtops and repairing them. Dell, Lenovo are junk! We had so many come in with all different problems. HP and Asus seem to be the best far as less problems. Acers are decent, but not the best, HP we had a ton come in with overheating issues (known for all labtops though) and along with burned up GPUs. Asus the only problem I ever seen come in was the actual labtop screen was going out on them but ran perfectly. Overall I recommend a Asus or Acer with intel, do not get AMD! Hope this helps! :)

Thanks. I was actually thinking about getting an Acer, I used to have one and it worked pretty well come to think of it. I forgot about that laptop until I read that Haha. AMD is never an option :u

In that case, my sister had just gotten an Acer not sure what the product number is, but could get it if need to be.

    Specs:

    Intel I5 4210U
    8 gigs ram
    1TB HDD
    Nivida 840M GPU OC

She paid around $800.00 for it though lol, but overall a really good labtop.
