An idea to make people more active on VG forums

    During the tf2 gunmettle update I have been getting some ideas how people could be more active on the forums and the cs:go/tf2 servers by doing certain task,for example have the players do certain objectives in game such as award players credit points on the forums. Another idea I came up is to have different unusual contest questions on tf2 for every month to have more interesting competition.

    Something along the lines of having them do a task in game to get points on the forums? Something better might be to post events on the forums with stuff to do in our servers. If you completed the task then and posted it on our forums you would get a reward.

    Could result in less interesting gameplay from people just playing the way they are to finish the task (example: in gunmettal I was spy when we needed engie because of contract and would not go after good targets but go for buildings (bonus))

    Tasks would need to vary from person to person or there would not be any class diversity.
