Orange Server Connection Issue

    I have spent countless hours on Orange with nice low ping connections. All of a sudden, for some reason, I keep getting locked up or unable to connect. It's been happening for about a week now and I've tested a dozen other servers/maps etc. This doesn't happen with any other servers except the vgamer orange server. Anyone have an intelligent clue why?

    Yeah you shouldn't be getting request timeouts during your route, occasionally you'll see them at the end of the traceroute, which is normal. It seems the way you're getting routed to our server isn't optimal, you have a bad hop. Most likely an issue at a data center with a router. Give it a few days and it should resolve itself.

    so if it were you, what if anything could be done to fix this? It's really getting annoying. I play for 30mins, then get locked out and can't rejoin for hours, sometimes a whole day again. Worst yet, it seems to get worse in the evening when more people are playing (more fun). It's been about a week since it started.

    There's really not much that can be done. I can see if our host can re-route some of our connections to our box through internap.

    If you could do a few more trace routes for me that would greatly help. Specifically when you get locked out and can't rejoin.

    Also, have you tried any of our other servers when you get locked out?

    I just tried 2Fort and had pretty much the same thing happen... 20mins, bam! locked up, can't rejoin. I'll post a treceroute in 2min ---- UPDATE. still in the middle of a tracert to Orange...

    12 tries and it's still timing out....

    Paste a few more trace routes if you would. Even if they are the same thing. I just need them at different intervals.
