TF2 Sound not Working... :(

    Basically a couple days back when I started playing TF2 no sound came out, I checked all the sound settings and everything seemed fine, however the sound still did not work even after I changed and looked over everything. So any suggestions?

    Here is some things you may want to know:

    I had Russian audio for TF2 installed, so after a while (September 13, 2014) I deleted all the Russian sound files, the sound after that worked..

    However 2 days later I upgraded my PC to Windows 8.1 (Before it was just Windows 8) and all the sudden sound in TF2 just stops working.

    Personally, I did research but I did not get any answer to particularly this issue, I may need to re-install TF2 but I really don't want to as my connection is not that good.

    Reinstalling TF2 should fix your issue. Consider doing it at night when your asleep.
