Admin Donating Question

I was wondering when someone applies for admin. You have to pay. I've heard many things, so can you pay $60 at the start and that's it? Or do you have to pay $10 month for a year. I just want to know when you apply for admin what the options for donating are. When I applied for admin I thought it was $10 a month forever.
