Hey everyone, I got a random question here. For anyone who knows things about vehicles (or at least pricing) I have been looking for an idea of a restoration project. Now I know this uhhhh "little" hobby is expensive however its worth while at the end. Now I have been wanting to do a 1970 Pontiac Firebird however to find something that isn't almost stripped down or so rusted that the parts are completely worthless is rare. So my question is, any vehicle suggestions that would provide a fun project? Don't worry about pricing as of right now as I just want ideas (as in when I get the cash is when I'll start worrying about it). Also it would be great just to have a starting point of what I wanna look for.

If you want a cheaper restoration, i would think a 70's or 80,s short box Chevy Truck would be sweet and cheap. I did a 1980 Plymouth volare About ten years ago. They where a dime a dozen then.

65-73 mustang would be good for pricing since there are so many parts available for them. I did my wifes resto for around 15k with paint included. Mine was 4 times that since i went all out on it. But hers i went original with some safety mods like pwr disc brakes, 3 point seatbelts, etc

We don,t see many of those mustangs here in Canada, and non at all for restoration. I guess it depends on where you live.
