Just thought id make a random post since I'm geeking out over the new Windows 10 upgrade :D the new Microsoft Edge internet browser seems to work hella fast and very smooth. Not sure if its just me but seems to look nicer too compared to Chrome...

About to try it out with CSS but has anyone had any problems with it? Like, was it possibly a bad idea to upgrade?

I heard many promising things about windows 10. The only downside to windows 10 is it has ZERO privacy options. You can't even turn and leave options off which is very disappointing.

Yeah, a friend sent me that the other day and after taking a look and checked my brother in laws laptops too see if shit matched up well, it did and I said i'm not upgrading my desktop then till I know I have more privacy as no one needs to know any of my business.

I upgraded and The Cortana service, even though I turned it off, was eating all my bandwith. I couldn't even connect to simple websites so I had to download a separate program to constantly force-quit the Cortana application so I could actually use the internet. Just awful

Odd. I'm using 10 and haven't had any such problems.

I'm sticking with 8.1, it works fine and I have it my desktop/laptop/Surface, thus I also don't want to have to do an upgrade three times nor have it only different on one.

SO until they kill 8.1, I'm staying with it.

7 still does everything I need it to, and 10 hasn't shown me anything compelling enough to make me want to upgrade. Good thing I have a year to get opinions.

Yeah I know, neither of my friends have had this issue either but when I was checked my bandwith usage sure enough it was consuming massive amounts. Since I force-stopped it things have been running smoothly.

I guess Cortana just wants to have an extra special relationship with you ;) She clearly doesn't care about the rest of us.

Yup, I am using windows 7, and as I said above I will not be upgrading to 10 at all. I have had ZERO problems with windows 7, like Homer said with windows 8.
